Did Not Attend (DNA) Appointments

A DNA (Did Not Attend) is when a patient does not attend a booked appointment and has not contacted the surgery in advance to cancel or rearrange it.

We understand that sometimes patients may forget an appointment or be unable to attend due to unexpected circumstances. However, when an appointment is missed without notice, the time cannot usually be offered to another patient who may also need medical attention.
