Routine appointments
To request a routine appointment in advance

- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) or SystmOnline to book an appointment

Extended access
To try and provide a better service to patients who work or find it difficult to see a Doctor during the week, we have a Saturday surgery every other week.
Appointments will be available from 9am-5pm and can be booked in advance.
Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
If you have made a telephone appointment, you will be given a general time of day for the phone call to take place, we cannot give a specific time slot for these appointments.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- using the GP online system: SystmOnline
- phone us on 01702 202514 for The Jones Family Practice or 01268 774477 for Church View Surgery and follow the instructions on the phone
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone or face-to-face
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
A request for a home visit can be made but patients are reminded that it is preferable that consultations take place in the surgery where diagnostic facilities are ideal.
Emergency requests can be made at any time, but it is essential that the nature of the emergency is stated as home visits are usually restricted to Elderly, housebound, or seriously ill patient.
